A SoulSupply Announcement

It is SoulSupply's ever present desire to multiply warmth and nourishment to the souls and faith of its readers.

Beginning the week of July 17 SoulSupply offers five days of SoulSnacks either penned or inspired by A.W. Tozer.

Aiden Wilson Tozer (1897-1963) was not a man backward in coming forward. He would retire to the Lord's presence, but never retire from a challenge to the church.

Tozer was a mere twenty-three when he prayed to his Lord on the occasion of his ordination:

I am Thy servant to do Thy will, and that will is sweeter to me than position or riches or fame, and I choose it above all things on earth or in heaven. AMEN

Any young man who could pray such a powerful prayer was not likely to permit his flock to recline upon a fair-sailing faith, plagued by their human passions and guided only by their human instincts.

Tozer proved to be a prophet, a parson and a pulpiteer to be reckoned with, one who few could shadow.

As with his Lord, Tozer would model and preach a devotion beyond this world, claiming hearts are sent to heaven long before the spirit ever arrives.

This week SoulSupply will share Tozer's thoughts (and maybe even comment) on:

  1. Life in a Nervous Age
  2. Under New Management
  3. Praying from Wants
  4. All that is Needed
  5. They Didn't Know They Were Heroes.

It is our prayer that this upcoming series (some of which have proved to be the favorites already of many readers), may lead us to further bend our knees, raise our hands and give our hearts to Jesus.
