Dear Christian brothers and sisters,
- The bread of Babylon carries dis-satisfying and deadly poisons. The bread of Jerusalem is sweet, it satisfies. They prayed, and He brought His people quail and satisfied them with the bread of Heaven (Psalm 105:40)
- The promises of Babylon are hollow and will be eternally lost. Seek that which can't be lost. Seek the Lord, look to the Lord and His strength always. (Psalm 105:4)
- The habits of Babylon enslave. The habits of Jerusalem are pure freedom. Be daily filled with Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 5:19)
There is no loss to you to mimic Jesus, to set your face resolutely to Jerusalem. It is the true city that descends from heaven and survives Babylon.
Live in the light of Jesus, shine as His light, for this world descends ever deeper into darkness.
