2 Silent Witnesses
Hovering over too much of our earthly sojourn are dramatic and dark clouds. At various times we may feel crushed by their immovability.
There exists two sides to any cloud, above and below. Dark clouds feel lower, longer and threaten. But, each dark cloud comes with a caveat, there is always the unseen reality that light reigns above the cloud.
King David observed:
He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under His feet. (Psalm 18:9)
From a human viewpoint all men are unable to see God when heavy clouds float above. But another perspective exists, it is no obstacle for God to move dark clouds on, anything underfoot is vulnerable, powerless.
Dark clouds are a silent witness to a 'hidden' God.
Dark clouds equally are a silent witness to a potent God.
