Burning the Christians!

The world is burning, the wildfire of evil appears unstoppable and Christians are now 'at the stake'.
To mix the metaphors - satan is twisting his already tightened world grip towards full throttle.
The international atrocities of the past two years were unimaginable only two years and one day ago.
Last week's decision of the U.S. Supreme Court that approves homosexual marriage is the spiritual beheading of a nation. Christian influence has been eroded but now it is severed. President Obama sung Amazing Grace to the nation while simultaneously leading the nation in sin and burning the Christians. Does he not see the clash?
Christians are magnified as the enemy when their objection to homosexuality is voiced. The salt of the earth are now viewed as the cancer of the earth.
The tabloids, the internet and the air is alight with the torching of Christianity. As with Nero - the world's leaders play their fiddle while the flames of tortured faith ignite a multiplying hatred of Christ and His disciples.
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over its peoples... (Isaiah 60:2)
Christians fuel flames upon two fronts - western and mid-eastern.
The mighty United States has now fallen from leader to loser as evil twists its supercharged throttle.
The homosexual debate has never just been about equal rights, it is satan's western battle-front to assail:
- the Christian voice of righteousness,
- to drag the dignity of man as God's image into damaging sin
- to lift the badge of dishonor to the God who made man in His own image
- to disgrace Christians, Christ and Christianity in the sight of mankind and
- to lead the world (in its spiritual blindness) into deeper soul-tearing destruction of present and generational sin.
The middle east too has its own darkly garbed and evil Muslim militia with the deathly intent to remove any vestige of Christ from the face of the earth. Threats and then violence are their tools. This will too multiply.
The barren earth of the middle-east has become the richest of soils for an unrestrained evil.
To all brothers and sisters in Christ, expect more of the same - much more, for satan knows that his time is short. Persecution is now the promise of the future and even today. Do not be surprised when it comes - be surprised if it doesn't, because the increase of wickedness is upon us.
“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold (Matthew 24:9-12)
Wage war on your knees and in your heart, but not with your hands. Victory is as assurred as the battle is now present.
REMEMBER:
- There is the Crown of Life that awaits for all who live persistently for an audience of One.
- There remains the seat beside Jesus for those who don't flee their faith.
- There awaits the right to eat from the Tree of Life in paradise for those who overcome and do not shrink back.
In pain remember victory, for you belong to He who has overcome the world.
Our days are not in our hands but our behavior, perseverance and faith is.
Faithfulness carries its own rewards, for tenacity is the mother of triumph.
