The Best Way To Order Each day
The disciples were new, mere apprentices, simple-hearted and eager to learn the ways of Heaven to grasp spiritual truths.
One approached Jesus and asked Him:
Lord, teach us to pray as John taught his disciples. (Luke 11:2)
Jesus replied as recorded in Matthew 6:9-13:
This, then, is how you should pray:
Our Father in heaven,
holy be Your name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen
I wonder if this prayer Jesus too prayed at His dawns?
It is simple, easily learned and covers all daily bases. Give it your absolute attention.
Surely this is the very best prayer to begin each day, to keep chaos out and order in?
