St. Augustine's 3 Wishes

Having walked the sands of the Southern Mediterranean from 354 AD to 430 AD St Augustine of Hippo (Algeria) penetrates Christian thought to this day. Converted from a raucous life of misbehaviour in 386, He met the Master of Galilee, the messiah who captures hearts.
Augustine opened a narrow window to his renewed heart with his wish-list:
ST. AUGUSTINE ~
There are three things I would have liked to have seen. They are these:
1. Jesus in the flesh.
2. Imperial Rome in all its splendor.
3. Paul preaching.
SOULSUPPLY ~
The three things held upon this heart to see:
1. The scars in Jesus' feet for I shan't look Him in the face.
2. Every knee bowing and every tongue confessing Him as Lord.
3. Satan sinking in the burning lake of sulfur.
What the heart hungers for is what the mouth speaks of; this is the surest revelation of the life within the man.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Luke 6:45)
The way of the mouth betrays the way of the heart.
