Soul Snack 156/12 ... The Unchosen
God will always speak to the serially rejected. He willingly chooses to steer the souls of those convinced they are unacceptable, undesirable, unwelcome or even unchoosable.
To those who have lived with alienation, anger or abuse repeat these words out aloud during those delightful times of solitude:
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - He knows my name,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - He has recorded my tears,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - He has felt my shame,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - He has shared my rejection,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - He has stood in my loneliness,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - I will fear no evil,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - I will live for an audience of one,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - I am honored in His eyes,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - He is my strength,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - man's approval does not secure my well-being,
I am chosen by the God of the Universe - I am eternally lovable!
Remember when your desire for affection is as deep as the oceans, His love for you is as high as the heavens.
God elevates the unchosen and raises up the rejected - He steps in where man stepped out for you.
His love of you is the cause of His choice for you.
You may never have been seen by man but you have always been seen by God.
Before I was born the Lord called me;
